After his first meeting with the competition, Technology MKR Renault Trucks have been the protagonists in the Misano circuit.
Both team drivers MKR Technology, on board their Premium Course, have been highlighted in the four races held in the Italian stage of the European Championship Truck Racing. Markus Boesiger Federer has finished first in the two main races of the weekend, the first and third. Third race in which Germany’s Markus Östereich also been uploaded to the third step of the podium with two drivers of trucks Renault Trucks in the top three.
Boesiger was the winner of the weekend for a total of 44 points, six more than second place. As Markus Östereich, finished in fifth place with 27 points. The points for both drivers make Renault Trucks and Technology MKR temporarily lead the team competition of the championship.
For his part, Antonio Albacete (MAN) started the season with two podiums in Misano. In the first race on Saturday reached the third step of the podium and the second was involved in an accident, which forced the race to stay, not marked out for the championship. After the hard work of his mechanics, roll again on Sunday and managed to finish fifth in the first race and first in the final. This victory puts the Madrid third in the championship standings with 30 points, behind Bössiger (Renault) and Hahn (MAN).
