Kenworth K270 Medium Duty Trucks, The 26,000 lb. GVWR Kenworth K270 cabover is going to be offered inside a 4×2 Class 6 truck configuration. The OEM stated it’s built on the United States-based chassis much like those of the Kenworth T270 conventional. The K270 can also be operated by the 6.7-liter PX-6 engine having a standard 220 hewlett packard rating and 520 lb-foot of maximum torque. Optional rankings are 240 hewlett packard and 560 lb-foot of torque and 250 hewlett packard with 660 lb-foot. The K270 is going to be provided with Allison 2100 HS and RDS 5-speed transmissions.
The K270’s 12-volt provided chassis will contain 9-7/8-in, 120,000-PSI steel frame rails a wheelbase selection of 166 to 214 in-front air disc and rear drum brakes, mechanical rear suspension 45-woman gas tank and horizontal aftertreatment system having a 6.6 gallon DEF tank.
