Nissan Plan Avila is to produce a new vehicle, light truck, from 2014 and maintain employment in the Avila plant in more than 500 employees.
This was highlighted today during the visit of Minister of Industry, Miguel Sebastian, the Nissan factory on a day which presented the business plan for the factory.
Basic lines, plus the new vehicle and employment, covers issues such as adding new engines to adapt the vehicles to the required emission standards or community investment by Nissan over 100 million euros to keep the plant.
