Volvo and Mack Construct a SuperTruck


Sister truck makers Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks have joined into a contract using the U.S. United states doe to construct an energy efficient SuperTruck. The Volvo Group will get $19 million in federal funding to build up “high-efficiency heavy-duty truck technologies targeted at moving more freight with less fuel, therefore reducing green house gas pollutants.”

5-year project is targeted at enhanced truck the rules of aerodynamics and conversion efficiency, making the most of the output potential from the power source. The transport and fuel efficiency enhancements underneath the so-known as SuperTruck is going to be coded in cooperation with college and supplier partners.
